Feeling blue..........
Maybe its just my preganacy that is getting me down. But I am really feeling blue these days. Lots of emotions and stuff. I have now gained 19 pounds and I am almost at my 7 month mark.I am turly having a problem dealing with that. over a month now Tami on this board has been talking about a shower for me and I truly appreate her thoughts and efforts. However it seems that no one else would be intrested in joining in. Which makes me start to think if this is a real board of support or just a tool to pass time away. With all that being said I think its time for me to take some time away from the board so that I dont get attached to ppl and my feelings no longer get involved. thanks for your time, Heather
hey hey hey now!
Girly, You are loved... by me!!! You helped me out when i was greener than grass.... Please don't go!!!
I have a few things to say for you.
1- gaining 19 lbs is FINE!!! You are 7months pregnant dear. You will lose that weight and get a wonderful baby in its place. Don't worry about that. Most people gain 35 or more lbs. You'll be fine.
It's mostly baby and water!
2- Just because I haven't posted interest doesn't mean Im not. However. Every time I say I'm coming to a meeting, something happens.... and I don't wanna jinx it! lol. Girl... there is no way you are not going to get a baby shower....
So you better hope this doesn't jinx it, but I'll be there.
3- I know you have given me your number on several occasions for support, and I've never called. Its more because I work on the phone and would rather die than use it outside of work! lol. It's not you. I promise.
4- and this really isn't a point.. more or less. but just because some people have used this as something to pass the time.... I've gotten alot of support and encouragment from you and this board. We love you dear.
Love,
Amy

Heather please don't feel this way. I am not going to be able to make it to the shower but I had plan on mailing you something. It is almost a 6 hour drive for me. As for the weight gain, 17 pounds is great for 7 months pregnancy. You need to gain weight in order to have a healthy baby. Just think I gained 65lbs with both of my pregnancies. That is alot harder to get off. You have the weight of the baby, fluid, uterus, placenta, and your water weight. Most of which should come off. Just remember we all love you here and I don't like to see you down. SMILE PLEASE!!!

You know I will be there for your shower! I can totally understand emotions and stuff...I have been pregnant many times and the last 2 years have been pretty crappy for my family. If you want to go do something, just send me an e-mail or give me a call (we still have the same number). I was so happy and surprised to see you at the dinner Monica planned a few weeks ago. I am always here lurking, I hate to talk about all the bad crap in our lives, sounds like I am a broken record.
Now for the weight....19 pounds is a perfect amount...what does your OB say? With my first and last pregnancy I gained 25-30 pounds it was gone really fast after delivery...I gained it all back though, different story there. With my second that was a strange one, I gained 1 pound and left the hospital 20-25 pounds less then when I started pregnant. You have to remember those pounds include the extra blood, fluid and that beautiful baby girl!
Heather I am always here for you...you were here for my family.
Hugs
