Hello Everyone, Hope this is a great day for you. My Angel scolded me the last time I saw her, because I use to live on these boards. She felt I should let everyone know how I am doing, so the ones wanting to have WLS will see the difference. I hate to say since my WLS I have been so busy. It is a wonder busy. I feel great and can not believe that in a matter of 5 months I am a totally different person. I would recommded anyone this surgery. I also tell them that it is a very different way of live and unless you truly plan to comment to it all the way, do not do it. I was a full blown diabetic I am now insulin free. I took 5 different blood pressure medicines I now take one and my BP is 116/65, it was like 189/98. I have gone from 400 lbs to 281 lbs. My PCP does back flips when he see me. I think he is as thrilled as I am. My family and friends are very supportive. My doctor is Dr. Murr in Tampa his one of the greatest. I had heard he was strickly business but that is what you need, someone who will not sugar coat anything. I was sicker in the hospital after surgery but he made sure everything was done to make me better . Oh way the way the problems could of happened with any surgery not just the WLS. I hope anyone that might have questions will ask and feel fre to Email me. I would be happy to see if I can help. IMP gail e.

Gail, I remember you in a wheelchair at the Meet & Greet once..and I hadn't heard anything since excpt to know that you had surgery. I'm so glad that you have posted and that you have such a wonderful and dramatic change of life! I hope that you will be able to come to our support meeting on April 8th at the Downtown Library at 1pm so that afterwards we can take pictures of your current look. Then we can work on putting a preop picture and current picture together to show the new you and then later again. I enjoy taking before or after pictures and see the wonderfully dramatic changes in peoples lives. Hope to see you then!!
