OK. It's been a while since I posted. I got down to 175 (from 355) and then got pregnant. We were trying... it just happened fast. 2 COncerns 1. I've gained 50 pounds in 21 weeks. I know it should not be a mojor concern for the weight sake... but apparently it is a sign of gestational diabetes. 2. The test for gestational diabetes is a glucose tolerance test. My Surgeon, Dr. English< said that I would never be able to have a GTT because it would make me sick and possibly put me in the hospital. SO... My guestion is. Has anyone had a GTT since the surgery and if so how did it effect you? Did anyone else's doctor mention the possible negative ramifications of a GTT? Thanks for any help you can provide. This is our 3rd attempt at a child having lost the last 2 as late as 24 weeks and I want to do everything I humanly can to come home with a happy healthy baby this time. Kathy
