How about a ROLL CALL?

Hello all my FL buddys! I have been crusing our board and see SOOO many new faces and names. I thought it would be fun to do a roll call and see if we can't get to know each other and for those of us old timers get an update on each other. Name: Sallykate Age: 34 Post- op (open RNY) on Oct 24th, 2006 -down 71lbs so far Maried or single?: Married to a super duper hubby! Kids: Momma to 4 angels. Pets: momma to 5 devils (hehe just kidding) Tucker (mommas BIG baby @130lbs.) Yukon our lil' 65lb. lab, Frodo, Sam and Bilbo AKA "Billy Bob" our frisky kittys. coming soon.... chickens and a goat! What I do: I stay home and homeschool my 4 children and operate a blossoming handmade scented candle biz. Hobbies: Well obviously, I enjoy making candles! Quilting (amateur!) painting, ebaying, playing keyboard Other stuff... community etc.: Hubby and I are worship leaders at our church. I have been singing publicly since I was 4 y/o. Well Im usually just a lurker but I guess I'll come out of the shadows. Everybody seems so nice here, Id like to make some new friends. Name: Mary Age: 39 Pre-op...I got approved by medicaid, now the hospital doesnt wanna take it...so.... Maried or single?: Seperated Kids: 2: Kristofer age 16 and Dreama age 4 What I do: Stay at home mom Hobbies: hanging out with my kids at the park or the beach We live a pretty simple life here in good ole Pensacola. Ive been trying to get wls for a few years now and have ran in to road blocks all along the way. Only one surgeon in florida will take medicaid and now even he cant do it because of some negotiations between the hospital and medicaid. But Im not giving up. Name: Tracey Age: 34...35 next Friday Post- op (open RNY) on August 4, 2004, I have lost 181 since surgery and 195 from my highest weight. Maried or single: Married to a great guy, Troy. Kids: My baby boy Jesse is 13, 5'11 and 202 pounds , Nicole is 7 and Kate aka KayKay is going to be 4 in May, but if you ask her she says she is 16. Pets: Ellie is my 3 1/2 year old ****er, Pete is my almost 1 year old pug, he is my buddy. We have 5 cats, Kitty (13), Molly (8), Harley (3), Brit (3) and Mako (2). A gerbil Snowball or Snowflake , hamster Fruitloop and a few angelfish. What I do: I try to keep sane! I stay at home with Kate. I am going back to school this summer since things have finally calmed down in our life, I only need 1 more class to put in my application for Nursing program at SCC. Name: Angie Age: 32 After a year weight loss program and an appeal because of first time denial I have my surgeon consult today and I will have a date by the end of the day. Maried or single?: Married for 5 years Kids: 10 year old daughter, who is starting to act like a teenager and a 3 year son. Pets: 2 basset hounds (suzie and doc, in which I breed), and 1 beta named barney What I do: Nursing Instructor and Assistant Director of a Practical Nursing Program in Tallahassee. Hobbies: Surfing the net, puzzles, crosstitch and playing the piano. Other stuff... community etc.: Work in the nursery at our church with the 2-3 year old.
