Heel Spurs AFTER WLS???

Hello, I was just wondering all of you with heel spurs that hurt like HE!! before WLS. After you loose a good amount of weight ..do they still hurt? as bad?? or every once in a while? I just feel like Im 80 years old,& I'm only 33. I cant stand for a long period (more than 10min) I'm also hoping the fact I have heel spurs & arthritus & a BMI of 43.0 is enough health problems to get approved from Aetna.

Funny you should say that. I have had them prior to my surgery and I thought they may have went away or something until about 2 weeks ago. I have really bad pain and it hurts like he11. So, what I try to do is stretch them out in the morning before I even get out of bed and hit the ground. Maybe that will help you, it does for me.

I have had them for years. they are much better for me since losing weight. Rarely a problem but once in awhile they act up. I like cute shoes and get stupid sometimes and wear ones I should not! LOL laurie
