Any info in DR Harold or Beltre

I just got back from my 1st dietcian appt. I thought I did so good at finding all the Dr's near me & these 2 new ones came up. Dr Lou Harold in Orlando and Dr Wiljon Beltre in Altamonte Springs. Has anyone here used either or meet with either? Thanks for your input.

Are you looking for a surgeon? Dr. Kim in the Orlando area is good. He is part of the US Bariatric team. I don't know about the others. luvitsunnyv

Hello, Yes I have been to Dr Kims info session, been to meet Dr Overcash. I need to do a 3 month dietician/DR thing before I summit for approval. These Dr's Harold and Beltre were so much closer I thought I would check them out. I called Beltre & the recp. who answered the phone was rather rude, so I won't go any further w/ him. I keep getting harold's ans. service...so maybe thats a sign..LOL I planned on going with Overcash.... I really liked Dr Kim, but the fact it's a $600 non refundable fee is though & the $400 pysc. evaluation seems like a scam..to me. I would rather use someone on my plan and pay my $10 co pay for this. So although Overcash is more of a drive for me..I can deal with that if I'm saving $1000.

I have never heard of Dr. Beltre and I live in Altamonte. Dr. Harold works with Dr. Renkhe over in St. Pete...he has an office here but does the surgery over there. Harold worked with Butler until he retired, left the area or whatever happened....couple stories there. I would pick who your comfortable with, your life is in their hands. I went with Overcash...the drive isn't that bad. I had to drive up 7-8 times total with pre-op, nutrition class, surgery, staple removal and weigh-ins...I was released at my 1 year appointment, since I was below his goal already. Good luck Tracey

Tracey, LMAO... I LOVE your "Night before WLS picture" I have the same "Im Grumpy" shirt. Maybe I will wear it for my before picture too. I can't get over your before & after pictures. You don't even look like the same person. Congrats to you.. I only pray I do as well

I loved that shirt, I still have it. I just bought a new one in a much smaller size too...someday I will have that as my after pic. Other then look like a different person, I feel sooo much better. I went to Seaworld with my sister-in-law and family a few weeks ago....I remember doing parks before and having to sit down every 15-20 minutes to rest, now I wear them all out.
