New Picture on my profile
Hi Florida Buddies,
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and relaxing Sunday. Mine has been great.
Well, I was able to upload my current 7 month post-op picture and I've submitted my 6 month post-op to be changed for my message board photo, but hasn't hit yet. I used the picture from 6.5 month post-op for that so you'll know me when it changes.
The 7 month post-op pic is of a dress I bought off of eBay before my surgery and finally got to wear it. It is already too big in the bust and shoulders, so I only got to wear it once. It is a size 24W, but of course my abdomen is so much larger then any other area of my body, that it takes a long time to get into some clothes just to fit that area that the top then is too big.
I guess until my body catches up with it self, the best thing to do is stay away from tight fitting dresses and purchases tops and bottoms seperate or dresses with a little fuller skirt area to them. I just loved the colors of this dress and knew I would like it on me. My boss really like it on me too. That was nice to hear from him.
Have a great rest of the weekend and I'll post more later. Oh yeah, I'm down -76.2 lbs now. Just 25 more to go to be in onederland!

Lori,
Hi! I just looked at your new pics on your profile. You are looking GREAT!!! You are doing a great job. I was worried about you at the beginning when you and Dr. O were clashing but I am so happy for you that things are going so well!
I can hardly wait for my turn to come. I still have 20 pounds to lose to have my heart cath and then I can get on with the surgery. I guess I really should take some pics because I have lost 45 pounds from my high weight.
Well take care and keep up the good work! Enjoy wearing those new clothes!
Kat
Hey Kat,
Thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate it.
Have you gotten a date for your surgery yet?
Those pictures you are talking about really help when you feel like you are not doing well. I look back and see the difference, even just a few pounds at a time make a big difference in appearance. So, start snapping away!!
Hope that those 20 pounds come off soon for you and you get the heart cath done so you can move on to the next phase of this journey.
Take care,
Lori
