7 days post op
So far everything is working as planned. No surprises, just what to be expected. Drinking fluids, walking, and resting. I can't wait to get away from the soft diet during the first two weeks.
Is it normal to feel so like if nothing had taken place? Scary!!!!!
Once again, I can't thank you enough for the support that I have received from all of you. My best wishes for everyone else that is already on the loosing side, and for those looking into it... GO FOR IT!

Not sure about your question, but if you are not having pain you may feel like you did before surgery. The difference is, you are not eating like you did before surgery! I will be excited to see how your weight has dropped Carlos, that will be a fun day for you! Yes...we are all glad to be off the soft diet, just get your protein drinks in, ok?
blessings,
Tami

Carlos,
If you're not in any pain count your blessings! I didn't have much pain after the first few days, but was definately knew I'd had something done!! Welcome to the losing side! Hang in there, the liquid/soft food stage passes quickly. Just follow your surgeon's food plan and you'll do fine. Keep us posted on your progress.
