It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that My friend's mom Sybil passed away Sunday 02/12/06 3 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. I went to the funeral today and the family is doing pretty well. That are thankful that her suffering was short and glad that she was with them for 76 years. All 3 daughters were with her up until the last day but 2 of them had left to go home earlier in the day that she died and did not make it home in time to be with her as she died. Her youngest daughter (my friend Alison) was with her as was her husband - they had been married for 55 years. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue to pray for peace for the family. Many Blessings to you all! Terri

Terri, Oh yes! I have a beautiful little granddaughter. If you have a couple of hours I can tell you about her...LOL! She is tiny. Weighed 6-2 but has gained 4 oz (Happy to hear that because both of Ashli's babies were sick at birth and lost almost 2 lbs. So happy to see weight gain! She has blonde hair on top and strawberry blonde in back and on the sides. Blue eyes! She looks like her daddy and her little brother. Oh so pretty little girl! Still planning to move to California at the end of the month but a few days later than originally planned. They want to be there for Jared's birthday which is Feb 29. I am planning to come Saturday but don't know if I will stay for the whole meeting. My sister Cindy is in the hospital and I have her two teens with me. Hoping she will be able to come home tomorrow but don't know yet. Also Ashli is coming down with my boys again. I am thinking she could take them to the library while I am at the meeting. Dylan loves books! Of course I may have to show them off first! I am also having that crazy attack of pain again. I think it is arthritis but it has come and gone about 3 times in the last month. I swear to you Terri every inch of my body hurts. I take an antiinflammatory but I am supposed to take 2 and only have been able to tolerate one. I have tried a couple of times to increase it up to the two that are prescribed but everytime I try it I start to have GI bleeding within a matter of hours. The doctor has tried to change me to something else but nothing else touches the knee pain. UGH! Don't know how I digressed to all of this complaining and whining but I did! Anyway I will try to make it for part of the meeting. Don't know about Cindy. Depends on if she gets out tomorrow. Kat

Thanks for the update, Terri. Prayers coming for Alison and her family. The suffering may be over for mom but the emptiness is just beginning for the family. I can't even imagine losing one of my parents....who have been married 62 years in April. Hope to see you Saturday but, if not, I certainly understand. Love, La Wanda
