Hi everyone - have been lurking for months...

Thank you Betti and Charla.....we love The Villages....have been here over 4 years now and we wake up every morning feeling like we have died and gone to heaven. My DH and I are still working full time so we don't get to enjoy everything there is to do here but it is still just plain wonderful. Charla - I've got a countdown calendar on my desk at work - just keep ripping off those days

Congratulations on getting that date, Nancy! That approval call is great, but having an actual date is the BEST!!! Hope to see you at the support group at the end of the month! You're welcome to go, even though you'll still be pre-op at that point! And bring your DH, too. Jan

Thanks Jan - you know you're my hero! I've got the support group meeting marked on my calendar - can't wait to meet everyone in person. I'll only be 10 days from surgery at that point so I'll be the one floating on the ceiling.
