Hi everyone - have been lurking for months...

going through the agony of waiting for approval before I gave a big on line thank you for all the good advice that as a lurker I read and appreciate. I'm Nancy, live in Central Florida in The Villages and just got my approval last Thursday and have a surgery date for the Lap RNY on March 6th. Am so excited I can barely sleep. I'll pipe up more now that I've come out of hiding! Thank you all again, I read everyone's profiles and am so encouraged by your journey's. Nancy

Hi Nancy , I had surgery sept 6th 2005 and have lost 83 lbs ...i feel soooo much better it was the best thing i ever have done ...good luck and i know you will be fine i live in central fla also Winter haven i dont know if it is close to you or not im 40 miles from disney and they have a support group at the Celebration hospital near disney on the second wed of every month i just got back from New Jersey where my sister could take care of me she is a nurse so i went there and i had excellent care ...anyway if you would like to go you are welcome if you are close there ...im going tomorrow for my first meeting i cant wait to go....well i know u will do good and i wish you the best keep me posted on your progress...i will say a big prayer for you... Hi Nancy! Congrats on the surgery date. You'll have to come out of lurkdom more often. I hear The Villages is a nice place. Hubby and I have been considering the possibility of moving there in the next few years. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. Betti
