New total...

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say I went in to be weighed today and have lost 10 more lbs. 24 more to go before I can get my heart cath!!! YEAHHHH!!!! That is a total of 41 from my highest weight. Please keep praying for me because sometimes the spirit is strong but the body is weak! Kat

Tami, I don't know how I had never read your profile before but I did this morning. We have a lot in common lady! We are both nurses and both have large families. I have 7 children including my stepdaughter and my 8yo nephew who we have raised since he was a baby. I have always worked in infectious diseases and worked a lot with dying patients in the early to mid 90s. I have thought often of working with Hospice and am seriously thinking of applying with them when I am able to go back to work. I am spending the weekend with my daughter in Georgia so I am in Grandma heaven with my two little grandsons who are 7 mos. and almost 3 (FEB.27). Anyway your profile was a great inspiration and I learned a lot from reading it! Thank you also for the kind words and the prayers! I can always use all the prayer I can get. Thanks a bunch! Kat
