Insurance approval

Does anyone know more or less how long united health care is taking to approve? any hopes help.

I was told by Odalys at Dr. Jawad's office that it takes her about 2 weeks after they submit the paper work. I don't know if this is in genral for every doctor or not, but GOOD LUCK!!!

Once all the required paperwork is in...it could be 2 weeks to 14 days....I was approved in about 14 days once all requirements were in....but its different for everyone! Good luck and keep us posted!

I got UHC POS, the paperwork was submitted on a Friday, by the following week on Thursday I received my approval. Make sure you have all the require documents in place, Psych eval, letter from your PCP, and most important is documented attempts of diets at least for the last 12 months. Good luck!
