Jax support Group

Just wanted to say that I was able to get to the meeting of the Jax support group for the first time on Saturday and it was a great meeting. It was very nice to put the new and improved faces and bods with the names from OH. As I am still preop I was a little worried about feeling out of place but I have to say that I felt very welcome and accepted! Thank you everyone!!! (Trying to use the emoticons but I don't really know how so if it doesn't work you will see the word kiss instead of one little smiley kissing another one) LOL! It was fun and I hope to attend the next meeting also! If you haven't attended this group yet you are missing a fun bunch! Thanks again for a fun and educational gathering! Kat

Hi Kathy, Welcome to the group. I was sitting two seats to the left of you on Sat. I look different now then I do in my picture because I cut my hair very short. I hope to see you at the next meeting. Stephanie

Woman, I gotta agree with Rhonda....if I saw that before picture of you and then you walked in to the meeting, I'd wonder who the heck you were. You look FANTASTIC. I couldn't be prouder of you. WOW, you've done so well. And I LOVE the new "do". I think its perfrect for you. Thanks for being a part of the group and coming the share your story. My sister and I were sitting here last night going I think that's her but I'm not sure. We finally decided that it was you but only after reading your profile. Thank you, Rhonda. I know its a long drive for you to make it to the meetings and I truly appreciate you coming all that way. It was a pleasure to meet you after emailing for a while. Please come back our way. You made a shopping day out of it this last weekend and I know you can't "shop til you drop" every time you come to Jacksonville but please consider making the trek now and again. Be sure to let Kim know I'll be expecting to see her again, as well, and that I appreciate her being there with us also. Thanks again for this post. La Wanda

Thank you for this post. You truly made my day. I'm so glad you and Cindy were there and do hope you'll be there again and again. I want everybody to feel welcome and when people up and start talking and just share with us, I know that's been accomplished. You know I'm there, my friend.
