HELP IM HUNGRY
Joanne,
How are you doing with your water/fluid intake? At 4 wks. post-op you're really not hungry, but you may actually be thristy. We (the MO) often mistake the sensation of thrist for hunger - part of what got us MO in the first place. You may also be having "head" hunger - an ugly, hateful thing that plagues most of us! LOL Drink some water and ignore it untless it is time for your usually scheduled "feeding". Hang in there, keep up your fluids & follow your surgeon's food plan. It does get easier as time passes & you see the weight loss!

I am also 4 weeks post op and feel hunger. It usually is in the morning and a couple of hours after eating ... so I'm hoping it is normal since that's about when I should be eating anyway. I, too, have been concerned about this hunger since I was told most people don't get their hunger back for 6 to 18 months after surgery.
