Good News!!!
I went for my initial consult today with Dr. Jawad!!! 
After about an hour and a half of talking about both surgeries, and a visit from a really cool guy that had the surgery done almost 3 years ago, they called us back, one at a time. I got back, and got weighed. I've gained 7 lbs since December (
) but then Odalys came in. She is sooo awesome. She told me under Bright house Networks and United Healthcare I will not need 6 months of supervised dieting or a letter from my PCP. She said, atmost, I will need 5 years of weight history, but usually that is not necessary. (Not a problem to put that together) However she said that she has been hearing back from UHC with in about 2 weeks for gastric bypass! They gave me my perscriptions for my gallbladder ultrasound, psych eval, nutritionist eval and thyroid test and asked me to get them done ASAP. I may be looking at the end of Feb for my surgery! What a wonderful way to start this new year!!!

That "cool guy" was Rusty and he's one of Dr. Jawad's angels that might visit you in the hospital after your surgery. I'm another one and there's another lady that's very, very nice that is also an angel.
Congrats on your consult and remember that getting approved from your insurance can be painful, but so worth it of course!!
