Hi all the wonderful OH family....hope everyone is doing well.......well I bought something today I never in my life thought I would ...I bought my very first scale........never wanted one before since the numbers on it always have seemed to go up......but anyway...it is very accurate weighed at the dr's office then the scale and they said the same exact weight....so now for the big news....I am 3 months 1 week post op and officially down 93lbs....I was just floored....can't believe 7 more pounds and 100 is gone for ever....I tell you...this has been for me the hardest HARDEST journey I have ever done...but has been so worth it...and now I can honestly say I would definitely do it again......well next stop is the century club...woohoo .....hope you all have a wonderful weekend...I know mine was just made a little brighter....take care April 400/307/hopefully 185 one day

April, Good for you! You sound so excited. It is so inspiring for those of us that haven't made to the other side yet to hear you "losers" report on your success your AHA moments and all the neat things that you discover or rediscover each day. You all are great! Keep up the good work! And to Tammy I want to say that each person is different and you really can't compare yourself to anyone else. But hang in there. I am sure you will get where you want to be it may just take you a little longer. Kat

You go April.....you've worked hard for that 100 lbs!! woo-hoo and congrats on soon to be century club member !!!!! And Tammie.....I agree....we all lose differently depending on how much weight we have to lose...just keep the protein, water, fruits and veges, vitamins and exercise. Stay away from those carbs (bread, pasta, etc). You'll keep losing! hugs to you both, Tami

Congratulations, April!!! You're doing great!! You're right, it may not always be easy but the journey is definitely worth it. I said this a million times and I can't say it enough. I'd do it again over and over if I had to. Personally I can't remember EVER feeling this great in the last 20 years. It's awesome. Good luck with your journey in the future, you have many, many months left of dropping pounds before you start levelling off, and I'm pretty sure you will get down to the 185 you wanna be at. I'm not quite at goal, but even if I don't lose these last 20 lbs, at least I'm healthy and happy now. Not having diabetes and high blood pressure is the BEST thing that's happened to me on my journey and I wouldn't trade this for anything. Who needs chocolate cake? I Don't !! I like being alive!! Keep us up to date !!! {{{Hugs}}} ~Andie~
