Florida & No Insurance??

Hi All, A friend of my father's lives in Broward county. She has EVERYTHING wrong with her & is VERY OVERWEIGHT. SHe has no insurance and is on Memorial Region which is like a monthly program through the hospital that covers some meds & doctors. Does anyone know of any other insurance group, doctor?? Anything that we could refer her to to help her get surgery? I believe that if she had the surgery & felt better she could work & feel better. Thank you in advance for any help at all.
