HELP...need Miami Support Group

I recently moved to Miami (near the airport) and am looking for a support group. I feel like an AAA about to take another drink!! Need to get back on track and in group. Hopefully someone out there will know of one (need time, place, and how often they meet). I actually called several bariatric physician's offices and they didn't know of a group AND didn't sponsor one themselves...go figure

Well welcome to Miami!!! I have family in GA and wish I could move up there LOL. I had my surgery at Mercy Hospital in Miami and we have a support group twice a month. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. The 4th Wed of the month is dedicated to only post ops, but I do enjoy going to the pre op one also. The bariatric coodinator there is Kammi and her # is 305-285-2609. We're having a Valentine's party on 2-8-06 too, our Christmas party was very successful and everyone had a great time. The surgeons went and many of the nurses from the surgery floor.
