New PCP

Hi Everyone, I am looking to find out if anyone knows of any Weight Loss Surgery Friendly primary care physicians. I had a really good PCP but unfortunately he left the practice to teach at Florida State University. I have an appointment with one of his partners on January 9th, but I am not sure he is going to be very supportive. If anyone knows of any good PCP's in the Tampa Bay area I would love to hear from you. I finish my 6 month weight loss program on the 18th of January. I have everything else done. I am about to begin the 6month suppervised diet that BCBSF requires with my PCP and her Internal Medicine practice also has a weight manaagement office. Dr. Karon Lo****ro - Tampa 813-876-7073. I've been her patient since 1993 and she has been a great doctor. One drawback is that she is so popular that she books up quickly, but her nurse practitioners are also wonderful. Good Luck! GladysS
