What are you doing New Year's Eve?

Woo Hoo! It's Hump Day, working our way to Friday ! Just curious what some of you will be doing to ring in the new year ... My boyfriend and I will be having an incredible meal prepared by a very good post-op friend who is an amazing cook. She is preparing chateaubriand, asparagus with some other sides. I'm in charge of appetizers which I'm sure won't do her meal any justice . We will ring in 2006 with a few of our closest friends reflecting on a great 2005 and looking forward to another fabulous year. Being I am the one among my friends that is WITH CHILD. (as they call me) I was told I have to baby sit all there kids while they go out! GRRRRR What fun is that going to be? I am sure I will make the best of it. Happy new years to all of you

Hi Amy We are going to a big ole party where they are roasting a 25lb pig. These people are from Puerto Rico and is tradition. So this will be the time my husband & I will be going. It will be fun. Happy New Year to you! Priscilla

A friend I met on Obesity Help has invited me to her NYE party! I'm blessed to have met wonderful friends through this site and through my surgeon's practice. I pray 2006 will bring me as many blessing as 2005 has. Rhonda

Since I'm sick, hubby and I will spend it home alone snuggled on the couch, which is actually just up my alley since it feels like we don't get a lot of quality alone time together anymore. Hugs Kim

Hi Amy, Been a while since I've posted here, but wanted to say that I am so excited about your plans. I am working on the boyfriend front and will post later for some advice from my FL OH buddies. Well, I am going to a party and play games until the midnight hour. Then I hope I'll find someone to kiss in the evening that needs some cheering up on that front. I love spending time with friends and this is always a great evening for us all. Some will be watching the big ball in NY as it counts down the time and we will all stop our card games, get loud and hug each other with well wishes for the coming year.
