chair for surgery

Hello All, I'm scheduled for TT, arms, and breast lift with implants all in one surgery and someone said my life would be much easier afterwards if I had one of those recliners that lifts you up, too. I don't want to buy one, however. Does anyone know where I can rent one or borrow one? Laura

Laura, They would make it easier for you as you will not need to use your arm to push up with getting out of the chair. I used one when I had hand surgery. Check with the furniture rental places. They will rent short time. Good luck. gail

Hi Laura, I am 2 weeks post op and i rented a recliner from a place called surgical world in hollywood, fl. but i dont think they will deliver that far. U just need to go onto whitepages.com and type in the business type tab medical equiptment rentals, then put in deerfield beech and hopefully one will come up. Good luck. Joanne
