When is the next Meet n Greet in Orlando?

I would love to meet all of you, but have not been able to make it to the events for one reason or another. I'm really hoping to be able to go this time. My sister lives in Sanford so I can drop the kids off with her and have some "adult" time.

Hey Trish , I am the coordinator of th Central FL M&G, I am planning on having our next gathering in mid or late January. I wanted to get through the holidays since I figured many folks wouldnt want to come to a mall foodcourt during this time of year (I know I am avoiding the malls at all cost these days). Anyway, watch the FL board for more info and reminders, I always try to give people lots of notice so they can coordinate it into their schedules. Take care, Amy

Amy, I, too, am interested in the M&G. I live in Leesburg. It may be that we are out of town for January, but I will watch for your post anyway, our plans may vary. Where do you usually meet. Carol

Hi there Trish!! I saw Amy's answer to your post and also wanted to tell you that if you would like to visit our support group in Orlando - you're more than welcome. Most of the patients are of Dr. Overcash but we invite anyone looking for support in our group. So you're welcome to join - our next meeting is Thursday 12/29 at 7pm at the Herndon Library 4324 E. Colonial Drive near the Fashion Square Mall/Colonial Promendade. So if you can make we'd love to have you or anyone else for that matter. Hope to meet there on Thursday. We meet about 2 a month.

Is the support group meeting open to people considering the surgery?
