need info in polk county

I need some info on finding a surgeon for Haines City, Lake Wales or Lakeland hospital. I have Medicare Complete/UnitedHealth. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions. I know heart of florida hspital has a couple of surgeons on staff, but I know nothing about them. I would just a soon not use hof (past reputations). Any help yu have is appreciated. Sorry Charla, one I haven't checked the board lately as you can tell. To answer your question the hof stands for heart of Florida hospital in Davenport Florida.have you had any luck finding any doctor's? I've checked out the heart of flora hospital and they have a couple of doctors that specialize in weight loss. there is also a doctor to Kim located at the celebration hospital. Hi Cathy, I am Carol, 2 weeks post op with Dr. Jawad in Ocala. He is one of the best in the country and Ocala really isn't that far. A gal from Lakeland had surgery the same day that I did. You might want to check him out. The staff is wonderful. Try jawadmd.com. Good Luck, Carol

Hey Cathy, I had Dr. Kim at Florida Hospital Celebration Health in Celebration. Like everyone else on here, I am biased toward my surgeon in saying that he is the best!!! The hospital is very modern and it honestly feels more like a resort than a hospital when you walk in. They have monthly info sessions if you'd like to check it out. They are on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 (the next one is on the 11th). I also live in Polk County and would be happy to pick you up and take you to this if you are interested.
