Shopping in Orlando?

We are coming to Orlando in Feb for the Daytona 500, hubby and FIL going to the races, I am looking for things for me and my MIL to do, any suggestions? shopping? We have already done the Disney thing many times. thanks Dot in Texas

Just across the street from the racetrack is the Volusia Mall (3-5 min w/traffic). If you go east there is more "small town" shopping. There are many restaurants for later...but I know they will be packed that weekend.

Go a little more north of Daytona to St. Augustine. I LOVE ST. AUGUSTINE!!!! all the cute shops, bed and breakfast inn's... Ripleys Believe it or not Museam is there and the Fort of course. But I like the shops, everytime I go there I buy a new purse and wallet. There is a leather shop near the beginning of the cobble stone main street (near the oldest school house in America.) LOVE their LEATHER. I even bought a couple for friends while in there ($10!!) Take a nice drive over to the West Coast of Florida. Go to Busch Gardens if you want to do a theme park. Have fun!!! There are lots of things to do near Daytona (approx within an hour away or less): -Blue Springs State Park to see the manatees -DeLeon Springs State Park for a special pancake breakfast in their Old Sugar Mill -Shopping in Downtown Mt. Dora -St. Augustine Historic District -Antiquing in Downtown Sanford -Shopping on Park Avenue in Winter Park You can do searches online for more info or maps. Have fun! Amy
