Help me get to Onederland Please!!!!!
Hi,
I am 7 months out and down 112 since I started this journey, putting me at 223 today. I will be 38 on December 21 and I really wanted to be under 200 by then. My weight loss has slowed ALOT in the past 4-5 weeks and I don't see me hitting that GOAL. I will admit that I do not exercise as much as I should and that is because I am busy enjoying life like never before and we are running the roads all the time (and I have 2 kids and work full time outside the home as well) I take my vitamins and calcium and get my B-12 shot every day. I try to get plenty of protein, but I find myself drawn to veggies and salads and fruit. I eat some pasta and bread but it is very limited and I eat wheat pasta and whole grain bread when I do (except for that white bread bananna sandwich last week). I have a little over 5 weeks to do this. Can anybody give me some guideance on how to do this??
Thanks
Terri,
Based on my own experiences, you have to increase your exercise and increase your protein to jumpstart your weightloss again. Also make sure you are drinking all your water! I know you are a busy woman, but exercise HAS to be a priority or you will run into stalls in your weightloss often. I get up earlier than I ever did before to get my walking in but you could ride a bike, join a gym or the Y with your kids.
My motto these days: If you keep doing what you've always done then you will continue to get the same results. So shake things up again with some exercise and a little change in your diet and I promise the weightloss will start again! Your body needs to be tricked into thinking it is time to lose weight again.
Good luck
Amy

I agree with amy and I would add, get rid of the white stuff, and the whole wheat stuff. Go back to water, protein, fruits, and veges. Increasing exercise will increase metabolism and get that weight off. For me, the white stuff will stay in the past, its not something I see as anything but adding pounds to me!
Blessings,
Tami
