OT- Golden Corral Honors Vets

Monday Nov. 14- from 5pm-9pm Golden Corral Restaurants nationwide will offer a free dinner buffett inluding choice of beverage to any former or active member of the military. All you have to do is identify yourself to the cashier. My husband and I did this the first year and I we had to do was tell the cashier we were veterans. You do not have to have an ID card, or papers or anything like that. So if you know any veterans please be sure to tell them. It is a very nice gesture on the part of Golden Corral on the corporate sponsors of this event. Red

Thanks for the reminder! I am not a veteran, but my "friend" is and we plan to go on Monday. I am not a big fan of buffets, but I'll indulge him for a night since we can eat for cheap that night. Amy

Red, I'm sorry to say the line wrapped around the building last night, so we opted to pass on his free dinner. Glad so many military people took advantage of the free dinner, but I didn't have the patience to wait in a line forever. I think it was a sign... LOL Amy
