Congrats on your progress! I had trouble walking newly post-op, so I started going to a local indoor pool. I just walked at first, but eventually I was running in the water!!! It really took the pressure off of my knees. Keep sipping tha****er and have a great weekend... Hugs, Erika L

Erika, A few weeks ago I went to an outpt. physical therapy/ rehab facility with a Rx. from two of my doctors for aquasize. I had been to this facility and did PT/aquasize there 1 year ago with no problems with my mobility, safety or the staff. This time the same therapist that assigned me to aquasize a year ago refused to allow me to participate in it because he was afraid I would present a safety hazard if I fell etc. and his staff wouldn't be able to get me out of the pool. I couldn't believe it! I said come on I am a big woman I could float til the cows come home and you could call 911. He stood his ground and I left terribly angry and humiliated! Anyone else ever have an experience like that? Kat

April! So glad to see you posting and feeling better!!! Praise God!!! I'm 3 weeks today, and have lost 22 lbs. I had a complication with drainage from my old stomach and had a 2nd surgery, just got home this past Friday. Glad it's all behind me, but I do still have a drain from that stomach, and hope to get that out on Monday! I'm eating pretty well too, on pureed foods. Trying to hang in there and stay positive!!! I'm so glad you are ok!!! Keep in touch! Carol V.
