AFTER SEPT 29th AETNA QPOS IN FLORIDA /NO LONGER COVERS WLS!!!!

I just want you all to know that just incase you have this insurance and didn't realize that it changed recently. I had to rush and have my done RNY 9/26/05. AND.... Someone or somewhere I read that WLS is no longer covered by any ins. companys in Florida now.... Do you know if this is true??? LIL'RED

Lil'Red, I just got my open enrollment paperwork for 2006 with Aetna and it still shows bariatric surgery as a covered benefit. I also work for Aetna and we have ALOT of plans that cover it.. Terri

Maybe its just our employers "choice" not to cover it..... IT'S THE SCHOOL BOARD!!! LIl'RED
