Medicaid?? Anyone?

Does anyone know any surgeons in the state who takes Medicaid? Maybe you have Medicaid? I have a member who needs our help trying to locate one. If you know of a surgeon please let me know. Appreciate your help Amy

Hey there, I have HealthEase w/Medicaid and Dr.Murr in Tampa,FL excepts it...You just have to get your PCP to refer you to him if you are in this area. Also your PCP will have to get authorization to send you there. Im going threw the same thing right now. Dr.Murr's office has you attend his Orientation and Support Group meeting and while you are there you can set an appt with Spectra HealthCare to have your Evaluations completed.The cost for them is $750.00 not covered by Medicaid.
