SallyKate Update

I just talked to SallyKate and she is doing better. She saw the Pulminary Dr. this morning and after going all of her test results last night and reviewing her info from where she'd been in the hospital from teh surgery he is completely convinced that she had a full out PE. She is mobile and in good spirits, so he doesn't want to do any further testing. They have decided to keep her for another day or 2 because she is dehydrated. They think some of the nausea and vomitting is from accidentally OD'ing on phenergen. She said the instructions on the bottle weren't very clear and took too much. She's starting to feel better and hopes to be home by tomorrow or Tuesday. She appreciates all the prayers and said she could feel them coming and believes that all the prayers are what kept this from being a full on PE. HUGS Kim

Kim, Thanks for the update! I am so glad that SallyKate is doing better! Please tell her I am praying for her and I know she will be home real soon! I am in Jacksonville too Kim I think I remember you saying (maybe in your profile) that you and SallyKate live near the airport. I used to live out that way for many years. My sister still lives off North Main St. in Hollyford. Your picture on your posts reminds me so much of my niece. Anyway I live in the Arlington area now. Maybe someday we can get together. Kim, I have not been online this weekend and was so sorry to hear that Sallykate had a setback. Thanks for letting us know how she is now- happy she is feeling better and should be home soon. Terri
