How long will I need to be off?

I did some planning myself not knowing for sure what time i was really gonna need so I planned my 3 day hospital stay and 2 weeks time. I got different answers on that one when I asked however I called after the first week to get my staples out (OPEN RNY) the following week and then was ready for work the end of that week...so I was out a total of 2 weeks. Having open didn't hinder me in any way - would I have wanted more time off? Heck ya but I didn't have the time. Everyone in my job was very understanding and I took things easy when walking around the office. Good luck to you!
