Is there anyone here that is online right now from the New Port Richey area? I was wondering what the psych consult was like and whom I should go through, this is my last step before submitting to my insurance.

Jennifer, I am in Largo. The psych consult was pretty straight forward and easy. Just be honest. You will be fine. Who is your surgeron? Melinda

Hi Melinda Thanks for writing back. My surgeon is Dr. Dy at Community Hospital, New Port Richey. The reason I was wondering about the psych consult, is because Im a very nervous person and take zoloft and ativan regularly. I didn't know if that would disqualify me from this surgery. Jenn

Hi Jenn, I went through Vocational Rehabilitation and my taking Xanax and Inderal for my anxiety/PTSD/ and panic attack syndrome didn't affect the outcome, I think it only strengthened it because of these disorders. I am in Spring Hill btw
