OT: Need Info regarding Marathon FL

and Highway 1 Flying into Fort Lauderdale tonight. Driving to Marathon. Any up-to-date info regarding that area. What we have found out is most of Marathon has their power back, Highway 1 is open, and Shirley from K-Mart (my friend called the K-Mart in Marathon trying to get information) said there shouldn't be any trouble. Help!
