Recovery takes time april,so give it time. Good to see you are up and walking. Take your pain medication, it helps you heal and you won't feel so rotton! Glad you are getting your protein and fluids in. that is most important so you don't dehydrate. Drink your protein, so its fluids and protein at the same time, kills two birds with one stone. Looks like your weight loss is going great! Woo-hoo! Blessings, Tami

I didn't really enjoy the time right after surgery and like you said, after TWO surgeries, I'm sure you're sore and very tired!! But at least you're walking and moving around a little when you're awake so that your healing time will be as fast as you can manage. The really important thing is that you're through it and on the other side!! April, we were all praying for you so hard and we're so glad you're doing as well as you are!! Post when you can and don't worry about it if you don't feel up to it for a while! We love ya, anyway!!! Hugs, Jan

Hi April! Thanks for letting us know how you are doing! You're right, your recovery period will most likely be longer than most. Sounds like you are making steady forward progress though. You are still in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and keep us posted as you feel up to it. Congrats on the pounds lost! Wow! Betti

April, Though I don't really know you (I just started posting right before you had your surgery)I was praying for you when you were having such a difficult time. I am glad to hear that you are progressing. Don't get down on yourself that your recovery is going a little slower than you expected. You will get there! I know you will! Congrats on the weight lost already! Keep up the good work and rest when you need to. Kat

Hi AprilinFla, I am glad to read you're up and walking around, getting in your fluids and protiens even if it is a slow go, you take it easy ok? Hey we aren't super humans who just bounce back like a snap of a whip. Pamper yourself but also keep doing what you are doing, you sound good. I will keep the positive energy coming to you, take care and post when you can. Hugs. Have a happy day, Brenda Lee.
