I do believe that Dr. Cox in Ft. Lauderdale does. No Lap though. I wish there was one close to me I do not know how I would be able to make the trip. Good luck !!! Rhonda

Jen research through the Professional section on OH http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/professionals/list-professionals.php Find doctors & surgeons from the closest & outward till you find them. Read the reviews and the Profiles of those that made the review as the profile will tell you what insurance or Medicare/Medicaid they used.

Did you call OC at 352-368-2828 - if your primary is medicaid you might have some difficulty if it's your secondary - you can get help there. I just took someone there and the medicaid is the secondary and they will be able to help her. Email me and I'll see what I can do.

Hi there, I wanted to let you know that Dr.Murr in Tampa, Fl excepts Medicaid.. just call this number and tell them the name of the Medicaid you have and they will tell you if they except your Medicaid....I am going threw them and have Healthease w/Medicaid......if they except your Medicaid then they will tell you to have your PCP refer you to them, your PCP will have to call Medicaid and get authorization to send you and then Dr.Murr has you attend his Orientation and Support Group meeting and while you are there, you can make an appointment with Spectra Healthcare to have your Evaluations completed. The cost out of pocket for that is $750.00.That includes your Physc Evaluation, and Nutritionist visit and also the Medical Exam, while you are there, they will do a breathing test to see if your Metabolism is slow or fast or Moderate. along with a EKG to check your heart. All this is included in the $750.00 along with the Greatness of the Staff. Make sure that you take along with you, if you have had it done....your latest bloodwork, get that from your PCP office, it will be in your chart. It can be all the way back from 6 months ago....they will except that....Take that with you when you go to your appt at Spectra. This info is for you if you decide to go there. Also when you call Dr. Murr office and find out if they take your Medicaid, then you can call Spectra and ask them to send you a INFO packet or you can get one at the Orientation & Support Group meeting. Anyways, I hope this will help you out. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me and I will help you as much as I can......hugs, Maria Spectra HealthCare- # 813-319-0911 ( Susan) Dr.Murr's Office #- 813-844-7473 ( ask if excepts your Medicaid) for Info packet- 813-259-0929
