Perscription Assistance
I was just cleaning out my favorites links and came across a link I had found while helping a friend get some help with getting her prescription medications. The program is called The Partnership for Prescription Assistance. The program helps qualifying people who do not have prescription medication coverage get the medications they need at little or no cost. Through this site, the Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 150 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. You can either access the program through the website at the link below or by calling 1-888-4PPA-NOW (1-888-477-2669).

I would also add that if you are taking any medications long term and do not have insurance coverage for prescriptions and you find that your drug manufacturer is not on the list for this program you can contact the manufacturer directly and ask for information on their assistance program. Almost of the pharmaceutical companies have some sort of program in place.
