crying time again (warning, LONG)

Leeann..I know it's frustrating the first time you're doing research and getting all the approvals but hang in there...and if you're having difficulty with the surgeon's office or paying prices you can't afford - look elsewhere. I was gonna be paying $250 just to step in the door before i found my current doc and he didn't have all the hoops many have. also when you've done everything correctly and you're having problems..i'd look into another doc as I'm helping someone who had this experience....but I see that you've resolved some issues and you're back on track.....well thank God. Don't lose hope!!

OK, things now seem to be moving a little more smoothly I had my psych consult and just got home from that, I PASSED... at least someone in this world thinks I am not nuts. so, next step is the nutritionist next wednesday for a 4 hour group consult. THEN... I get to wait until November 8 and 9 for everything else. I am very impatient, so this is going to be a trying 2 weeks for me. Leeann.... PS: thanks for the support everyone... Oh, and I am going to Cleveland Clinic Weston, and I live only 10 minutes from there.

what happened to you please? I know this was long ago but I have the same situation just happen. I hope you are still on here, I'm so angry right now. Time off work, almost 1800.00 in copays and all the tests to get to the end and they say "oh sorry we made a mistake you aren't covered"??

I had to pay the $400 for my psych eval and I think my doc just used one person because of problems with evaluations being different and maybe not acceptable to the insurance company? I am not 100% sure why, just coughed up the money and did what they wanted. I know its a bite, but what can you do? I know you feel overwhelmed, but you have kept your head so far and just keep fighting. Get the names and dates of those you spoke to incase you need to refer to them in the future. We all go on a bit of a ride before approval, then its down hill from there! Yippie! Blessings, Tami
