I need help with insurance PLEASE!!!

I went to my first seminar at FL Hospital in Celebration. WOW!!! I thought it was awesome. I learned so much. However I need a doctor and hospital that might take Fl medicaid. Or if I get my own will they take that? Or should I just get a job that offers insurance, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!I have to have this surgery.

Hi what type of fl medicaid do you have? I have Healthease now, changed it from reg medicaid to have the surgery done. Dr. Rehnke in ST. Pete takes either Healthease or staywell types of medicaid for the surgery. I highly reccommend him to anyone wanting to have this done. Michelle- I know you were disappointed to learn that the Program at Celebration would not take your insurance. But do not be discouraged, there are good reputable surgeons that do take medicaid. If it is covered by your medicaid, then go for it. Private insurance or employer provided insurance is just a crap shoot right now on coverage for the surgery. I believe some of the big ones discontinued coverage the first of the year. You might want to call Dr. Cox in Ft. Lauderdale. I have read several posts written by people who had their surgery by him and he accepts medicaid. Good luck.
