holy s**t!!!!!! Picture a deer picture a deer in headlights that's me! I haven't even packed cause I really don't know what else to bring other than robe, slippers, toothbrush, and pillow. Is there anything I may be forgeting that you all found helpful?

Hi Amy, sounds like you got it covered. Maybe a book or a magazine to read (if you can get the energy to read) Oh, I also took a brush, and some deodorant. You'll be fine girl!! I'll keep you in my prayers. See you on the losing side! Becky

Amy, I wish you the best and most sucessful journey. I hope you look past the first few days and may God give you the patience to remember that you will get better everyday! Wow, Amy! I remember that night before! I'm a year out and loving life. As far as what to bring, I had a list of about 25 things, but I only used a little. I was ecstatic to put on underwear after they took out the catheter. I also used wipes and powder to freshen up, since I couldn't take a shower. Other than that, I didn't even open the bag I brought. I didn't want to use my own pjs, because I wasn't clean, I guess. Anyway, blessings to you! Laura

Chapstick or blistex is a definite. Other than that pretty much everything else stayed in the bag. Good luck.
