Tina here... I am a little over 1 year out this month. I have lost 187 pounds so far, with much to go. I live in St Pete with hubby and several 'fe-lions'. We do animal rescue also. I am so thankful for losing weight. I can do so many things again that I missed... walking, sitting anywhere, driving cars with no steering wheel rubbing, and just feeling better. Blessings all.... ~Tina~ 534/347/?

I'm new to this site. I had wls 11-2003. I've lost over 120lbs. ( i feel bad, i posted '130lbs lost' some where the other day, but can't remember where, [i've joined a couple of new sites lately]... can't count some days.. hee hee) Anyway....I'm on the 'delicate side' of 40. I'm married and have one cat, that is in charge. I semi-retired and only work part time. (I love it) I'm very thankful for this surgery and the weight loss. And I'm very thankful for this site and the others that I've found lately. I also just found a local support group. I'll go to my first meeting next week!! Angie

Good Morning to All, I am 10 months post-op. (loss of 149) My husband Omar and I have 1 dog and 3 cats who right now are our kids. We are both 39. Currently, I'm on disability and probably will be for a while longer due to the fact that I'm having some issues with compressed discs in my back. Besides my back, I feel good. Enjoying my life for the first time. Cherishing everyday that I'm able to hit another milestone. For the past few months, I had gotten off track with my eating and exercise but I gave myself a swift kick in the butt and am doing much better. Walking at least 2 miles a day, taking all my supplements/ drinking my protein & water and stopped snacking. Being home all day makes that last thing difficult but I'm determined to be good. Life is good! Sincerely, Dawn Post-Op 9/23/04 399/250/200
