Help Finding PCP Who is Surgery Friendly

Hello all. I need some help. My husband has had a hard time finding a PCP doctor who is bypass surgery friendly. He has had two different PCP's now and they both were disappointing. The USF Physician's Group has been suggested to us...specifically, Bryan Bognar was suggested to us, but he is not accepting new patients. Does anybody have any experience with any other doctors in the USF group? Also, can anyone recommend a good PCP doctor who is surgery friendly? We are in the Tampa area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
