QUESTION OF THE DAY....
Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Ours was HOT! HOT! HOT! We had temps here up to 100 deg. with the humidity. whew!
Been to see any movies this summer? What did you see and on a scale of 1-5 what would you rate it? 5 being excellent and 1 being a bomb.
We took the kids to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I would give it a 2 but the kids would say 4. Hubby and I found it monotinous and laggy. The ending was very disappointing.
Hubby and I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I would give it a 4 to 4.5 but found it WAY too risque for our taste. This movie should be rated R NOT PG!! It was very entertaining and had some funny things that all married couples can appreciate though!
Fantastic Four- I say 4. Hubby says 5. This one was very entertaining and clean. We took our kids along and they loved it.
War of the Worlds was WAY over rated in my opinion. I hated it. -1 to a 1 in my opinion. Hubby didn't like it either.
I can't think of any others... so do tell us your opinions on the movies you have seen this summer so far! We are waiting...

Well...my hubbby & I don't go to the movies often...my parents went this weekend and saw "Wedding Crashers" They said it was pretty funny. I would like to see more movies, but it seems that the movies Hollywood makes these days are dumb!!! How many remakes can they make??? Why remake a classic like Willy Wonka??

Hey there Sally, our weekend was AMAZING! the weather was brutal but perfect for what we did. We went to the keys diving and it was breathtaking!
Movies: War of the worlds, suprisingly liked it 4, Mr & Mrs Smith was a 5! Madagascar 2, Fantastic Four 3, Star wars 4....funny I know we've seen alot this summer but I can't remember many!
Movies I have seen lately:
Madagascar - 4. Thought it was quite clever.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith - 4.5. Really enjoyed it.
Bewitched - 2.5. Disappointed. Had some fun moments, but not as
clever as I had anticipated.
I'd like to see "Wedding Crashers" and am looking forward to "March of the Penguins." I've read that it's excellent.
