I have a cough

Okay, so it is 4 days till surgery and my kids have been sick, I have been trying everything NOT to get sick. I now have a rotten cough. I just spoke to my surgeon's office and they are putting me on Z-PAK(antibiotic) ASAP to try and nip this thing in the bud. My question is, will they make the decision if need to rescedule thursday or will they wait till friday morning AFTER I had to do the bowl prep? I have Dr. Marema, so if anyone has experienced this with Dr. Marema I would love to hear from you.
