I ache all over!
I am so very tired of not feeling 100%. Ever since my bout with the complications of pneumonia in April, I have not been able to bounce back to my normal self. My arms ache, my back hurts, and my energy level is lower than low! The doctor says it is from the rapid weight gain, but at this rate it is only going to get worse.
I need some feedback into how everyone was feeling on a day to day basis before surgery. I've done my research, and I know this is what I want as well as need, but I need to know more about possible complications.

Everyone has diffrent feelings and complications so for that I do not erally have an answer for you but I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and I hope that you get to feeling better !!
I know for myself my back aches as well as my arms .I am ofetn so tired I could sleep the day away. Also depending on what I eat that can make me feel worse.Hope this was of some help to you ---- Misty
I'm sorry you're not feeling well...I hope you'll recover from this soon. I had diabetes and high cholesterol before surgery - after sugery (1 1/2 months after - no diabetes nor cholesterol). As for the common cold or whatever that still happens and as we get older we get aches and pains..can't help none of that. Feel better - and hope that you'll be able to start the process of having surgery. It's hard to tell who or what complications will happen. Everone is different and your doctor needs to know everything about you health-wise. One patient I had heard about died - cause she/he didn't tell the doc they had heart problems so thought the surgery went well - the heart had a problem after it and the person died. So be an open book to your doctor about any and all health issues.
Thanks Ruth. I plan to be totally honest with Dr. Jawad! There is no way I plan to have complications for being dishonest. My life is at stake, and I need to be here for all my kids. I've heard that most individuals no longer have the need for insulin, diuretics, or cholesterol medications, and that will be such a pleasure to do without!
Hi Debi, I had rapid weight gain, I gained 160 lbs in 6 mos. And I can tell you from experience I could not lift myself up. My energy level was way down. I finally did some physical therapy and swimming aerobics that got some of my strength back. It is alot of extra weight to carry especially if you are not used to it. I decided on my journey to fight to live, rather than just do nothing. Good luck to you and I wish you only the best.
