Did or does anyone know that Dr. Tenawitz is no longer practicing??? How did your surgery??? Thanks a bunch,

That is true he is no longer doing bariatrics. I had my surgery done by Dr. Jawad in Ocala and was and am very happy with his care. Well worth the drive. There are also a couple of surgeons in Orlando with Celebration Health...Dr. Kim I think that I read great things about. Best of luck. Oh Yeah I am in Port St. John

As of last month Dr. T. is still in practice however he is not doing surgery of any kind. You can still see him for you post op follow ups. Char

Dr. Tenewitz is still performing general surgery. He is unable, however, to perform WLS as none of the hospitals in brevard are covering it on their liability insurance. I was originally scheduled with him, then when he stopped, he referred me to Dr. Jawad in Ocala. I can't tell you how pleased I was with Dr. Jawad.12 weeks out, down 62 pounds. I've never even been nasueous, and as of today, have never thrown up once. In fact, had ZERO pain after surgery. He is simply incredible.

He is not doing any surgery not even hernia repair. That is what Cindy in his office was telling me. I hate to see him close up shop but it is starting to look that way. He has so many patients in this area. Mark Fusco with MIMA is doing the lap bad surgery but he is the only WL surgeon in this area. I never had a problem with Dr. T and/or his staff. I always felt that I got top notch care from him. Char
