Embarassed beyond belief!!

Umm...I don't get it...I have UHC and switched from HMO to the PPO just to be able to go to Dr. Overcash (then I found out he has that one too) but anyway I did read abt the exclusion but went on ahead and proceeded to do everything necessary. I got approved in 14 days after Patrice submitted my paperwork. Is everyoone on board with helping you? PCP, Surgeon, Office, etc. I can't believe they would just deny you like this!!! Don't accept this answer - keep fighting - I'll be crossing my fingers for you and the others that posted here to UHC to react soon!!! Don't give up!!

Do you mean you have a written exclusion in your policy, and you got approved anyway????
