Nancy- Hey, I read your profile! I have Dr. Webb also. My surgery is now scheduled for July 26th. I start my 2 week diet and also have my final pre-op apt. with Dr. Webb tomorrow. I noticed on your profile you have a bunch of tests coming up- I hope all goes smooth. Email me if you have any questions! I will be glad to help if I can! Linda

Hi Linda: Didn't you have to have gall bladder sonagram or upper GI? The lung dr is because I smoke. Wow you are almost there! Nancy

Nancy- Yeah, I had the Upper GI. No gall bladder sono- because it's gone! (I had it removed 9 weeks after my youngest child was born). Here is a rundown of my tests I have had since the start of this year- H Pylori (sp?) blood test, psych. eval, Upper GI, Mammogram (scheduled prior to all this anyway), Pap smear (also scheduled prior), Echo Cardio gram, Heart stress test, EKG (2 times), Lung capacity strenght test, blood test for electrolite levels. Hmmmm...I think that is it. I feel like a human experiment. Ha! All the heart stuff is because I have high blood pressure (controlled by meds right now). Also some bad heart history in my family. I am almost there...getting excited and nervous!! Linda

Welcome, Nancy! You are going to love Dr. Webb. I am 51 years old and my wls was my first EVER surgery. I was terrified but Dr Webbs knowledge and information was so great he put me at ease. He is great. I am 9 months postop as of tomorrow and I feel great. Never had one problem and relatively no pain. His procedures are very good and I have small scars and have lost 78#. I am a slow loser now but I am hoping that will give my skin time to shrink some. I think you will do great with him. Good luck. Carol
