Miami Doctors who are WLS friendly?

Hi there, I just moved to the Miami area from Virginia and am searching for a new primary care provider. I had WLS 20 months ago and am trying to find a provider who knows about WLS and the after care we may need. I just need a Doc who will care enough even if he/she doesn't have a ton of know how on the subject. If you know of someone please let me know. Thanks in advance. Kim

I have heard that this doctor is really good. Dr. Many Gonzalez 305.663.0710. I would say about 4 people in my support group go to him and love him. They do however say his office staff is awful. He is located I believe in South Miami and he is cousin to Dr. Anthony Gonzalez which is a General/Bariatric surgeon. Good Luck and welcome!

I don't know if my PCP really appreciated me proceeding with WLS sort of on my own but she is really good. She's very prompt, very knowledgable and she tells you "like it is". Her name is Linda Marraccini. She was voted in Miami's top 100 family practioners. Best of luck.... LuvitsunnyB~lo/goal
