JACKSONVILLE PICNIC 7/16

I read a post somewhere about a picnic for WLS pts and those interested in surgery. I thought the date was July 16 and that it would be held near NAS Jax. I can't find the original post and think I may have just imagined it. If anyone knows about it please let me know. I am pre-op and anxious to meet some post-op pts. Our first meetup will be held at the Westside Park across from NAS Jax. We felt this was a good place because it is very central. It is located right by the 295 on ramp and off ramp. Also it has big pavillions in case of rain and will provide shade as well. We want to meet July 16th at 5pm so that it is not too hot. For our first "re-grouping" we thought we would do a little potluck dinner. Nothing fancy... just simple. I am putting a sign up list below and would appreciate you letting us know which catergory you can provide from. We ask that everyone bring their own drink. We will provide all paper products. We are so looking forward to getting together with you all and talking about the things we would like to do as a group. Don't forget to bring your b4 and afters!!
